About
Shane Terry is an actor living in Raleigh, NC. He began his acting career in 2010 in Christine Parker’s hippie zombie comedy, “A Few Brains More: Summer of Blood”. It was through Shane’s unique ability to change his look so easily that he ended up playing a total of 5 different roles for the film, and earning him the nickname, Lon Shaney, named after the great actor, Lon Chaney, who was known as the Man of a Thousand Faces.
It was more than just Shane’s ability to change his look so easily that helped earn him the nickname. Shane would lend a hand anywhere that he may be needed whether it was in front of the camera acting, helping with the makeup department, or sound department he was there to help his friends achieve their goal of making a film.
It was through his hard work, and eagerness that Shane began to meet other local NC filmmakers, and get their attention, as well as parts in their films. Multiple parts! He began to somehow find a knack for playing at least 3 different characters for most of the local productions that he worked on.
That hard work and dedication has obviously been noticed as he has appeared in several movies and music videos over the years.
Shane played both the character Officer Stevens and the lead zombie, Donald Grey, in Brett Mullen’s 2014 zombie splatterfest, “Bombshell Bloodbath". Shane returned in front of the camera again for Brett Mullen in his 2018 giallo slasher, “Bloody Ballet", this time as both The Killer in the film and the dead body of the father of the lead character!
Shane’s tall slender physique helped lend a hand again to director Christine Parker in her comedic 2018 short film, “The Mummy Sweded”, where he played both the lead, John, and the Mummy himself! He returned again for Christine Parker in 2018 in “Blood of the Mummy" as the good boy turned bad, Brad, and he even stood in as the Mummy one scene in the film, reprising his role from the earlier short film. Shane has appeared in many feature and short films for Christine over the years.
You will also find Shane popping up from time to time in films from another long time film collaborator and friend, writer director Jaysen Buterin. From background bits in two of the three shorts that make up “The Gospel According to Booze, Bullets, and Hot Pink Jesus" trilogy, Shane eventually became the face of the promotional stages, the “Poster Clown" if you will, of “Kill Giggles" (2020)! Shane plays the clown character, Kinky Dinky the Stripper Clown, in this soon to be cult classic! (Yes, you read that right…stripper clown! 🤣).
The list of musical artists that Shane has appeared in music videos for include Zakk Wylde, The Browning, Black Label Society, Black Crown Initiate, and more!
Shane is currently working on “Killer Babes and the Frightening Film Fiasco" from director Brett Mullen. The film features such stars as Scream Legend, Linnea Quigley (Return of the Living Dead, Night of the Demons), Lisa Wilcox (Nightmare on Elm Street 4 & 5), Tiffany Shepis (Victor Crowley), Debbie Rochon (Bloody Ballet, Terror Firmer), Jenna Kanell (Terrifier), Tristan Risk (American Mary), and more! This film is currently on hold due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and hoping to resume soon!
